After his General Audience, Pope Francis blessed this microphone from Rome Reports, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the TV news agency, started in 2003.
The pope, visibly tired after his trip to the Baltic Countries, had the strength to joke with the CEO of the agency.
POPE FRANCIS
'Don't report nonsense.'
Rome Reports celebrates its first 15 years as a leader in the audiovisual world, sharing information on the pope and the Vatican, in Spanish and English. The agency provides independent information to televisions in more than thirty countries.
ANTONIO OLIVIÉ
CEO of Rome Reports
'It is a day to be thankful, especially for the work of all those behind the cameras. For those who record the news, and do administration and marketing for the agency, who are an important piece to make Rome Reports' news reach the whole world.'
It has been a day full of celebrations in the Eternal City, where family and friends of the agency participated in the Audience with Pope Francis. It was also a joyful day for the smallest of fans.
