Catholics and Orthodox will once again celebrate the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. It will be this Saturday and the Vatican are sending a direct message to ordinary Christians: caring for the environment is a matter of respect.

This year the day is dedicated to water. According to the World Health Organization, its shortage already affects four out of ten people.
The youngest children suffer the most from this situation: 340,000 children under the age of five die each year because they are unable to drink clean water.
