This choir was founded in 2000 by Fr. Marwan Ghanem, who is its director. It is called 'Nusroto,' which means 'chants of joy.'

In addition to singing, they opened 'The Cenacle of the Son of Man' to rehabilitate people who are dependent on alcohol or drugs. In 2014, this association was chosen to represent the Asian continent in the World Federation against Drugs.

“We had a concert in Castel Gandolfo and today we were at the General Audience with the pope.”

Pope Francis thanked them for their visit during the greetings in Arabic that take place at the end of the audience.

POPE FRANCIS
'I cordially greet the Arabic-speaking pilgrims, particularly the choir 'The Perfect Letizia' from Egypt and 'Nusroto' from Lebanon.'

“It was a wonderful time, it was a big grace to meet the pope, to have his benediction, and the two songs Lebanese hymns. It was an exceptional moment. We thank you God so much to give us this opportunity.”

After their visit, they return to Lebanon to continue helping the needy.

Apart from the rehabilitation center, they have a music school, a project in prisons and organize conferences to raise awareness about the harm caused by drug use.
