After Pope Francis visited Bangladesh in 2017, it is now the Bangladeshi bishops who have made the visit to see him during their ad limina visit.
“How are you?”
“Fine, fine. Thank you so much.”
Starting with Cardinal Patrick D'Rozario president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Bangladesh, all the bishops greeted the pope.
Then they sat together and the pope spoke about last year's visit.
“I'm happy on my part of my visit to your country.”
They also likely touched on the plight of the Rohingya minority, who have been fleeing from Myanmar to Bangladesh.
At the end, Cardinal D'Rozario presented the pope with a particular drawing of the Nativity.
“Pretty.”
“Yes”
“For me?”
“Yes”
“Thank you, thank you.”
