Players from Rapid Vienna, the winningest professional soccer team in Austria, travelled to Rome to meet with Pope Francis at the Vatican.
They were joined by Cardinal Christoph Schönborn and, though they're almost on vacation, there are still two games remaining in the season.
The team captain gave Pope Francis a jersey, another to add to his extensive collection of soccer shirts.
Although everyone was visibly excited by the visit, the team's forward, Joelinton Cassio, couldn't miss an opportunity for an extra special moment with the Holy Father.

“Yes!”
Then came another...
Following a group photo and all the excitement, some players wasted no time publishing videos of the encounter on their social media profiles.
