The musical group 'Gen Verde' sang for the pope's departure from Loppiano with one of their most famous songs 'Accendi la pace' ('Light the peace').
This time they were accompanied by members of the band 'Gen Rosso.'
This combination of two musical groups, one only females and the other males, was started in the 60s in this same place, Loppiano.
'Gen' refers to the section of the Focolare dedicated to young people ('Gen Movement'), and the colors 'verde' (green) and 'rosso' (red), to the drum sets that Chiara Lubich gave them in the 60s.
