After visiting Nomadelfia on Thursday, May 10, Pope Francis will travel to Loppiano, the international citadel of the Focolare Movement.
This movement founded by Chiara Lubich in the mid-20th century promotes universal brotherhood. Thus, Christians and non-Christians alike of differing social status participate in its initiatives.
The pope is scheduled to arrive at 10 a.m. He will pray in the Sanctuary of Maria Theotokos, Mary Mother of God, which was inaugurated in 2004.
Later, the Holy Father will hold a Q-and-A session with some 6,000 people before returning to the Vatican. He is scheduled to arrive in Rome before 1 p.m.
