At the Regina Coeli prayer, Pope Francis reflected on the Gospel of the day, speaking of the definition of love found in every day life.
POPE FRANCIS
“Love is realized in everyday life, in attitudes, in actions; otherwise it is just an illusion. They are words, words, words: that is not love. Love is concrete, every day.” Life must always be protected and loved from conception to its natural end. And this is love.”
He said this comes to fruition in different ways. First in “protecting the elderly as a precious treasure.” Also, in taking care of the 'sick, who must have all possible assistance even at the last stage” of their life. Finally, in protecting and welcoming the unborn.
He also mentioned Blessed Chiara Fey, who was beatified in Germany, and called for prayers for the people in the Central African Republic.
POPE FRANCIS
“I invite you to pray for the population of the Central African Republic, a country that I had the joy to visit and I carry in my heart, and where in recent days there have been serious violence with numerous dead and wounded, including a priest.”
Then, he wished everyone a great Sunday and asked them to pray for him, as always.
