For the month of April, Pope Francis has asked all business leaders, politicians, thinkers and leaders in society to guarantee opportunities of dignified work for everyone.
He explains that the economy cannot be used to benefit only some, but must increase the profits of everyone.
“Let us raise our voices together, asking that economists may have the courage to reject an economy of exclusion and know how to open new paths.”
It's not the first time Pope Francis has shown his concern for this topic. He denounced it as soon as he was elected pope in 2013 and explained that it would be one of the key points of his pontificate.
Thus, from his first writings to now, he continues to speak on this topic and he urges a change in the world.
