Following the Wednesday General Audience, Pope Francis greeted world-champion cyclist Peter Sagan.
The 27-year-old Slovakian also presented Pope Francis with an autographed championship jersey and a customized bike complete with a papal color scheme and the Holy Father's name.
Sagan has won three consecutive world championships, the most recent of which came in September 2017
