Many times, going to confession is difficult. With a little help, though, it's also possible to find “special offers” that make it less of an uphill battle.

“We live in a world of promotions, and what better promotion than the offer Jesus Christ made? What promotion could be better than reconciling with the Lord and having sins forgiven?”
This Black Friday, confessing is the original idea of Fr. Ramón Zambrano, director of Cristovisión television network. Instead of shopping madness, this Colombian priest proposes taking advantage of the offer of forgiveness that Catholics can find in every confessional.
He launched his proposal on social networks to talk about God's forgivness in a creative way. The initiative seems to have been quite successful.

“It's been fantastic. People thought it was wonderful and creative. It put savage consumerism in a new light to replace it with a spiritual sense of approaching the grace of confession. Many people who confess in this parish, and in many other places, have told me it helped them look for Jesus Christ and reconcile; to look for this 'great promotion' that is the forgiveness of sins.”
Despite there being special offers on Black Friday, “the promotion” proposed by Fr. Zambrano is unlimited.

“The offer of forgiveness of sins is valid 365 days a year. We can approach God every day.”
However, the offer does have an expiration date. Fr. Zambrano assures it's only valid until the second coming of Christ.
