After two years of production in Poland, Japan and Italy and its premiere during the 70th Cannes Film Festival, a film featuring the unknown secrets of St. Maximilian Kolbe's life is ready to appear in Polish theaters October 13.
To make “Two Crowns,” the monk and heroic martyr in Auschwitz was thoroughly studied through his writings and even through people who knew him.

“Two Crowns” combines both a fiction and documentary-style story revealing the technological inventions of the saint, his mission work around the world and the evangelization movement he started, the Militia of the Immaculata.
The creators of the film, with the Maximilian Kolbe Film Foundation, strive to present Christian values in society.

The Holy See will also be a part of this mission to spread St. Kolbe's story to the world, as there will be a premiere viewing in the Vatican before the film reaches theatres in Poland mid-October.
