Pope Francis asked for solutions to rare diseases, and strongly showed his absolute rejection of scientific research that destroys human embryos.
'We know that no purpose, even if it is noble in itself,' he said, 'can justify the destruction of human embryos.'
He concluded his speech with an encounter of more than one hundred people suffering from Huntington's disease as well as their families in Paul VI Audience Hall.
