In a world filled with ever increasing technology, the Franciscans have jumped into the deep and launched this new website to spread the Word of God.
At the Franciscan General Curia, Minister General Brother Michael Anthony Perry spoke to Friars, Religious Orders, and members of the press to explain that one cannot reach people unless they go to them.

'We have to create roadways, new roadways, or use existing roadways in a new way. I think one of those sets of new roadways is the digital highway. How can we now find new ways of being able to engage ourselves in a digital highway. In a way that we can demonstrate authenticity, of Gospel authenticity, the authenticity of our own lives, but even more so we can invite young people even older people to reflect on why they are here.â?
In order to best utilize this opportunity, the Order partnered with an outside communications company, where the effects are already visible. The site is aesthetically appealing, mobile friendly, and is available in English, Italian and Spanish. However, one of the Franciscan's biggest challenges is connecting to the general public, and asks for feedback.

'Help us discover how to get on this highway. Show us the signs. Show us the road signs. We need help. We want to accompany you, we want to be part of your lives, and we want you to be part of our lives, part of the life of Jesus Christ.â?
Another driving factor in this reform was to put the Gospel in a place where the youth can easily access it. Brother Michael said that in this way, they can promote a sense of vocation through digital media.

'Trying to encourage young people to reflect on the importance of their lives to tell them and convince them that they are a mission. Invite us into the spaces where you live and where you dream, and where you cry and where you fear, so that we can cry and fear with you, so that we may journey with you, and that we can also bring the message that we have received, the message of the good news of the Gospel, and together we can even move forward with other people.'
The Franciscans said they are tapping into a new world, with an unwavering mission 'to live the good news, and to be able to share that with the world.â?
