'No, God wanted to save Pilate, and even Judas. Everybody! The God of Mercy wants to save all, the challenge is that we let God enter into our hearts.

POPE FRANCIS

'This path of living attached to the law would bring them far from love and justice. They followed the law, but neglected justice. They followed the law, but neglected love. They were role models: they were the role models. And Jesus had a word for these people: hypocrites.

In his papal bull for the Jubilee, the pope said that justice is not the end, but a step toward repentance. It is a crucial step that allows people to experience forgiveness, tenderness and the mercy of God.
