Pope's Agenda: a meeting with Prime Minister of Ireland to discuss future trip to Dublin

On Monday morning, Pope Francis will meet in the Apostolic Palace with scientists from all over the world. They are meeting with the Pontifical Academy of Science and among them probably will be also Stephen Hawking. ;

They have been in Rome since last week for the Science and Sustainability event on the impacts of scientific knowledge and technology on society and the environment. ;

The pope will also meet with the Prime Minister of Ireland, Enda Kenny, to discuss the pope's future trip to Ireland in 2018 for the International Meeting of Families. ;

On Wednesday morning, Pope Francis will once again hold his General Audience. It will most likely be in St. Peter's Square for all the pilgrims visiting that week. ;

Thursday will be a movie day because the Vatican will preview the latest Martin Scorsese film, 'Silence' ;which tells the story of two Jesuit priests in Japan. The 'Oscar-nominated' director could also be present.

On Friday, the Pope will meet with the President of Uruguay, Tabare Vázquez. ;

He will also attend the first of four meditations during the month of December delivered by Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa, who is the official preacher of the papal household. ;

He will finish off his week of meetings with his Angelus prayer from his window in St. Peter's Square on Sunday afternoon. ;
