POPE FRANCIS
'Keeping a small copy of the Gospel in your pocket or in your purse will do you good.â?
Always having the Gospel at hand. That is precisely what the University of Navarra, in Spain, have set out to do: a Bible that fits in your pocket, or rather, in your cell phone.
This one, however, is not just another Bible: this edition includes commentary and explanations by experts who have worked on this book for the last 30 years.

'Our Bible has extensive notes that aim to improve our knowledge of the text, to deepen in it. These features are for understanding the text better and also a way of meditating and reflecting about it, so it is like the pope wants it to be, study and prayer at the same time.â?
The paper version is five volumes long and it costs $260. The digital version is 10 megabytes and costs little more than $3. Since its release it has topped the list of most downloaded apps.
The University of Navarra Bible can be bought on Apple iBooks, Amazon for Kindle, and Google Play Books, both in its Latin American version, and its Spanish version. So far, there is no English version.
