At the end of the canonization ceremony, Pope Francis highlighted the bravery and commitment of missionaries that work in dangerous locations around the world. He remembered the Spanish missionary, Sister Isabel Solá, who was recently killed in Haiti.

The case of Sister Isabel is just one of many. She belonged to the Religious of Jesus and Mary congregation. She was 51 years old and she lived in Haiti since 2008.
