(ONLY VIDEO) Pope Francis revealed what he prays before going to bed. He spoke about this as he as recalled a scene in the Gospel in which a leper humbly asks Jesus to heal him. He said, that attitude is exemplary when addressing God because it goes without eloquence but with simplicity.
POPE FRANCIS
'At night, before going to sleep I pray this short prayer: 'Lord, if you want, you can purify me.' And I pray five Our Fathers; one for each one of Jesus' gashes because Jesus has cleansed us with His sores. This is what I do, you can do this as well in your home and say, 'Lord, if you want, you can purify and clean me; and think of the wounds of Jesus and say the Our Father for each one and Jesus will always listen to us.'
