'On the Border of Hell' by Rome Reports, is a finalist for the Mirabile Dictu awards in the category of 'Best Short Film.'
The documentary, written and directed by Angeles Conde, travels to Iraq to show the situation of the persecuted Christians by ISIS terrorists.
'We are from Mosul. At 6 a.m. we received a message: either we pay the tax because we are Christians, or they will cut off our head. '
Mirabile ;Dictu ;is a Catholic event supported by the Vatican. Among the other finalists in other categories is the film 'Poveda,' about the life of a Spanish priest who led revolutionary education to women and the needy; and the documentary 'The Gospel of Mary,' which is a different outlook on the life of Christ, one through the eyes of his mother.
