Princess Marie Esmeralda of Belgium met with Pope Francis this morning at the Vatican. In March 2015, the Pope had met the King and Queen of Belgium, Felipe and Matilde.
There are more than 11 million citizens in Belgium, of which an estimated eight million are Catholics.
