Pope Francis' week begins, as usual, on Monday with Mass at Casa Santa Marta at seven o'clock in the morning.
That same day the Pope, as the Bishop of Rome, inaugurates the General Assembly of the Italian Episcopal Conference, which runs until Thursday. A topic of discussion between the CEI could be the recent recognition of same sex civil unions by the Italian parliament last week.
Also on Monday, the trial sessions restart on Vatileaks 2, addressing the leaking of confidential Vatican documents.
On Wednesday, Pope Francis will teach his usual catechesis at the general audience to pilgrims from around the world.
The official agenda of the Pope will be quiet the rest of the week, but he certainly will not stop hosting private audiences at the Vatican.
Pope Francis will end the week Sunday at noon by resuming his recitation of the Angelus, which was replaced with the Regina Coeli prayer for the last seven weeks following Easter.
