Following the visit of the Vatican Secretary of State to Poland in April, it is now the Slavic country which returns the visit to the Holy See.

The prime minister met with Pope Francis and logically, one of the topics discussed was the next trip that the Pope will take to Krakow in July for World Youth Day.

During the meeting, they discussed the recent celebration of 1050 years of the Christianization of Poland and the promotion of the family. They also touched on the reception of refugees and conflicts in Ukraine and Middle East.

Pope Francis gave her his three papal documents.

'In Polish. It will be an easy read.'

After, they parted until their next meeting in July.
