For many young people across the world, trying to understand one's faith and the enigma of God can be extremely difficult. Fortunately, Dutch priest, Father Michel Remery, has the answers for them in his new publication, Tweeting with God Manual.
The manual is a sequel to his first book, Tweeting with God, which was initially created to answer the youth's questions about God in 140 characters ;or less- the same as the average tweet. ;

'Twitter is a little bit symbolical in the sense that it has very short messages. We want to give brief answers to deep questions.'
Fr. Remery found that often, young people's questions about the world and about faith are not taken seriously. After meeting with 800 youths from a diocese in England, he realized that many of them had the same exact inquiries about the story of creation, about God's love, and about learning how to pray to Him. ;
He decided to symbolically use tweets to answer these questions to get young people to slowly see the larger picture of the Christian faith. ;

'You could look at it as looking at a jigsaw puzzle. You throw all the little pieces together, and you have a big mess. But when you start to make the jigsaw puzzle- a little piece here and there- step by step, you start to see the image.'
Fr. Remery wrote the Manual sequel so that people can learn how to further use the Tweeting with God project across different platforms, like in youth groups or Confirmation classes. The book is currently available in 20 different languages, with more to come in the future. You can follow Fr. Remery on Twitter to ask any questions you may have at @DonMichelRemery.
