During the recitation of the Regina Coeli at the Vatican, the Pope admitted that he remained impacted after his brief, but intense, journey to a refugee camp on the Greek island of Lesbos.

The Pope spoke of the pain of children, but also that of the adults.

FRANCIS
'I've seen a lot of pain... A young man, less than 40 years old...I met him yesterday with his two children. He is Muslim and he told me that he had married a Christian and they loved and respected each other. But unfortunately, this girl was beheaded by terrorists because she would not renounce Christ and abandon her faith. She is a martyr. This man cried so much... '

The Pope also recalled the pain several earthquakes have caused in Ecuador and Japan, and sent his greetings to the victims.

FRANCIS
'Tonight, a violent earthquake hit Ecuador and caused many casualties and much damage. Let us pray for these people, and also for Japan, where there has been several earthquakes during this time.'

As the Catholic Church celebrated the World Day of Prayer for Vocations on Sunday, the Pope invited young people to ponder if God is calling them something more.

FRANCIS
'And to you young people, boys and girls, who are in the square, ask yourself if the Lord is calling you to consecrate your life to service in the priesthood or consecrated life.'

Just a couple hours before, the Pope had ordained eleven new priests at St. Peter´s Basilica. The youngest was 25 years old and the oldest was 43. That is, there are young people at every age.
