FR. JOSH MCCARTY
'My name is Father Josh McCarty, I am a Catholic priest in diocese of Owensboro, Kentucky.â?
Father Josh McCarty is not your typical Catholic priest. He is devoted to his small parish in Kentucky. But when he is not busy with his priestly duties, he is hard at work as the executive producer of his own production company, named Lolek Productions.

'I am so blessed and fortunate to be able to work with Lolek productions and bringing new media to be used with the Church.â?
Fr. McCarty credits St. John Paul II as the inspiration behind his wanting to get involved in the ministry. It is by no surprise that his production company is named after Saint's childhood nickname.
Currently, he is working on a documentary called 'Unseen.â? It is about one of the seminarians in his diocese in Kentucky.
DCN. JAMIE DENNIS
'Really my mom noticed my vision loss as soon as I was probably six months old. When mom would come into a room and call my name sometimes I would not always reach for her in the direction that she was standing. My vision is like looking through less than a three milometer pin hole. So, when I was younger it was like looking through a toilet paper roll.â?
Deacon Jamie Dennis is his name and he is 99 percent blind. He has a love of trains and leads a very courageous life. His blindness has been a great challenge, especially in getting through the seminary, which is designed for people who can see.

'It really started when I was probably seven or eight years-old. I used to play Mass in the backyard on a hay bill. And I had a dog dish and a can of Folgers coffee can as my patent and chalice and I would have Mass for my dogs and cats.â?
'My love of trains has helped develop my spirituality and independence.â?
An interesting fact about Lolek Productions is that the majority of the work in planning, directing, and post-production is done by Fr. McCarty in the midst of priestly ministry.
