The Vatican spokesman has confirmed that the Pope maintains his schedule for Holy Week, during which he will participate in four major public ceremonies at the Vatican and at the Colosseum in Rome.
Security measures have been increased throughout Rome and the Vatican, although there are no signs of a threat.
Since the beginning of the Jubilee, security measures have been noticeably visible in order to control pilgrims entering the Vatican. In fact, many have criticized the measures because they have ;hindered accessibility to the basilica.
Tomorrow, the Pope will have the general audience in St. Peter's Square. The number of pilgrims in attendance will give us a clue as to whether or not the fear of attacks will affect Easter in Rome.
