(VIDEO ONLY) Since 2012, it has been internationally recognized as a day celebrated by promoting awareness to people with Down syndrome.
Down syndrome is generated by a trisomy of chromosome number 21. So this day takes place on the 21st of the third month of the year. Its aim is to raise awareness about the need to integrate these people into society.
