The Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network was born in 1844 with one goal: to have Christians join the prayer intentions of the Pope, by praying for them and for the challenges of the world at this time.
To better understand those intentions, they have published a video every month since last January. However, from now on, those who want to enter this prayer network may do so in an even more active way, thanks to the application: Click To Pray.
Its users, besides praying for the Pope's intentions, find advice and practical daily purpose to not only 'pray,' but 'live' everyday, which is what the Pope is asking Christians at this time.
In addition, users can pray not only for the Pope's intentions, but answer the intentions of others who request it. Just go to 'Prayers Wall' and note the intentions for which others have prayed.
FR. FRÉDERIC FORNOS
The Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network
'It's like a proposal to help you open your heart, a daily update on the mission of Jesus. It's through this outlook that the Pope gives and offers us the challenge.'
The challenge is to look at the world's problems from a much more active and Christian perspective.
The application has already been presented in Rome; although the idea is to promote, among Christians, an attitude of continual prayer for the Pope's intentions, which comes from the Church's principles. This will take advantage of the digital world, in order to foster a deep-rooted custom in the consciences of Christians.
'Click To Pray' is in 4 languages and is available on both Android and iOS.
