The Pope returned to the Vatican on Friday after five days of a spiritual retreat in the town of Ariccia, 30 kilometers from Rome.
He went in this bus with other cardinals and bishops, and conversed with Cardinal Angelo Amato, while they sat together.
The Pope and the Curia attended two meditations a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both were guided by the priest of the Friar Servants of Mary, Ermes Ronchi.
'In the world, Christ is crucified in his brothers: refugees, immigrants, shipwrecked.'
After nine meditations, the pope closed the retreat week by concelebrating Mass. Then, with his briefcase, he climbed on the bus back to Rome to resume his normal schedule, starting Saturday with a general audience for the jubilee.
'Until next time.'
