The Pope and his top aides will be taking a bus on Sunday afternoon towards the 'Casa del Divin Maestro,â? a center of spirituality almost 25 miles from the Vatican.
Once they arrive, the traditional Lenten spiritual retreat will commence. According to the published schedule, it will begin each day at 7:30 am and end at 7:30 pm with dinner. Throughout the day, there will be interspersed moments of meditation, prayer and Eucharistic adoration.

The spiritual exercises on the retreat will be led by Italian priest Ermes Ronchi, author of books on spirituality.
The only guests invited are cardinals and superiors of the Vatican departments, with a head count of just over 50 people.
They plan to return to Rome on Friday morning.
