The Pope summoned all the cardinals, priests, bishops and lay people that help him in the Vatican Curia. Pope Francis told them of the key work that has been entrusted to them, in celebration of the Jubilee day dedicated just to them.

POPE FRANCIS
'Take as a model the same God, who cares for His flock. 'Also in our work environments you can feel, cultivate and practice a strong pastoral sense, especially with the people we meet every day. That no one feels neglected or abused.

The Catholics celebrate the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter. St. Peter's Basilica was very solemnly decorated for the occasion, even the statue of St. Peter is wearing Papal robes.

The Jubilee of the Curia began in Paul VI Hall  with a meditation lead by the priest and artist Marco Rupnik. The Pope was among those in the front row with the cardinals.

Later, they all walked  together in procession to cross the Holy Door. And Pope Francis wanted to do it as one among the employees of the Vatican.
