Scholas, the global educational network promoted by Pope Francis, has set a goal for this Christmas: They want everyone on Twitter to work for peace.
'I invite you to lend a hand to Scholas for peace.â?
The campaign is called 'Your hand for peace.â? Every user will paint their hand, take a photo, and upload it to Twitter with the #YourHandForPeace And the final step is the most important: They want users to inspire their friends to join the great chain of messages for peace.
More than six million young people take part in this global network, in which students from different schools, countries, and religions share projects and get involved in improving their cities.

'We are not going to change the world if we do not change education.â?
According to the Pope, changing education will require a major commitment from everyone. Concrete initiatives from all kinds of groups will be needed. Because what happens to young people now will affect the world for years to come.
