This is the enthusiasm that Monsignor Fisichella and his team were greeted with at the Vatican, when they arrived to present to the Pope the Book of Gospels for the Jubilee.

'Holy Father, we have prepared a work of art for the Jubilee.

He brought this book, which contains the readings from the Gospel for Sundays and Feast Days during the Jubilee. Monsignor Fisichella, the organizer of the Jubilee, explained them to Pope Francis. The Jesuit artist Marko Rupnik was also present to explain the mosaics that illustrate the Gospel. He told the Pope how he composed them.

'It will be used on the 8th, and in all the celebrations. Father Rupnik has made it. They are all mosaics.

'It is a miniature where there are pieces smaller than a third of a millimeter.

The Pope eyed the book while closely listening to their explanations and jokes.

'We hope, Holy Father, it isn't too heavy to impart a blessing on.

'We now have a strong Pope who can bless it.

Father Rupnik explained to the Pope that he had chosen to represent a crucified Christ on the cover because it was the moment of the greatest mercy, when he suffered for all people.
