(VIDEO ONLY) Pope Francis recently held a private audience at Casa Santa Marta with some of the biggest names in professional soccer, ;like Atletico de Madrid and Milan. Teams from Argentina, including the Pope's favorite, San Lorenzo de Almargo, were also present.
In the past, ;Pope Francis has said that sports help young people develop. He has worked with soccer stars to promote his educational foundation, Scholas. It's a global initiative that promotes peace through education and integration of young people.
