This photo appeared in the Vatican's official newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano: an emotional moment just minutes after Pope Francis finished his general audience. He had spoken about the promise of fidelity that spouses make.

What many people may not know is that the tearful woman who hugged Pope Francis is Eugenia Tobal, one of the most famous television actresses in the Pope's home country.

The actress' parents gave her and her two brothers the trip to Rome as a gift. After the audience, when Pope Francis greeted pilgrims in St. Peter's Square, she was deeply moved. She also received a blessing from the Pope.

It's difficult to know exactly what they said to each other. But the actress suggested moments later that it was a magical moment.

Tobal has appeared in more than 30 television shows since the mid-90s.
