On the second day of his U.S visit, Pope Francis is welcomed to the White House by President Barack Obama. The welcoming ceremony will take place in the White House Gardens, where roughly 20,000 people are expected to attend. ;
Aftewards, the Pope will have a private meeting with President Obama in the Oval office, followed by a speech.
