Ooberfuse, a British Pop group, has released a new song written for the thousands displaced by the Islamic State. Their goal is to make the refugees not feel alone or abandoned.

The song is called 'We Are One.' They want to convey the message that although many of these refugees have lost their homes in Iraq, and some of them have lost their lives, they will never lose the love and hope of God.

The new song has Christian themes. The Ooberfuse member Cherrie Anderson sings, 'In our home, in our faith, in our love, we are one. The lyrics also remind listeners that they're not alone.

The video was shot in a refugee camp in Erbil, which is the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan. It gives shelter to more than 70,000 people. The video includes scenes of daily life for refugees and shows how many shops have sprung up throughout the camp.

'We Are One is a rallying cry. It was also made in collaboration with the Archbishop of Erbil, Bashar Warda Mati. The song functions as an anthem for those refugees suffering persecution and every day of their lives. It's another example of a creative way that Christians can help others who suffer.
