It was March 13th, when the Pope announced that the Church would celebrate a Jubilee Year of Mercy.

POPE FRANCIS
'This is why I have decided to convene an extraordinary Jubilee focused on God. It will be a Holy Year of Mercy.â?

Weeks later he made it official in St. Peter's Basilica by reading the Bull of  'Misericordie Vultus' which translates to 'The Face of Mercy.'

POPE FRANCIS
'Why a Jubilee of Mercy now? Simply because the Church at this moment of great historical changes, is called to offer with greater intensity the signs and presence of God's closeness. This is not a time for distractions.â?

The Jubilee will begin on December 8th and will end on November 20, 2016. Roughly 10 million pilgrims are expected to visit Rome during this time period.

Now there's a new website for pilgrims to keep up to date with the Year of Mercy...from its purpose to its events.

The Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization developed the website. Users can find the schedule for Masses, going to Confession and liturgical celebrations.

There's also a section where users can write out their questions and send them in.

The website is available in Italian, Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and Polish.
