Josh Blakesley entered the music world in 1992, when he became involved with peer ministry. He was able to see how teenagers began to come closer to God.
To help them, he began making music. In 2003, Blakesley released his first solo album, which is titled 'Immersed.â? It included original songs inspired especially by teenagers' experiences.
Other musicians, like the young pop singer Sarah Kroger, have been influenced by his music.
'You Are the Light' is the Catholic composer's latest album. His song 'Grateful' was a success, thanks largely to the strong lyrics.
Blakesley offers a simple but direct message in his music that has been able to bring many people closer to God.
