A few months ago, Pope Francis met with members of popular movements and made a famous remark. He said, 'Nowadays, it is sad to see that land, housing and work are ever more distant for the majority. It is strange but, if I talk about this, some say that the Pope is communist. They do not understand that love for the poor is at the center of the Gospel. This sentiment inspired a new web documentary about social doctrine called 'Young and Engaged.

The multimedia documentary is the brainchild of young people in France who wanted to explain the Church's social doctrine. They are struggling against inequality and exclusion.

The multimedia experience allows users to move through different sections of the website and see the more personal side of social doctrine. It includes interviews, videos and articles. For example, the documentary describes solidarity initiatives or new ways to manage resources.

The dignity of the human person is at the center of the Church's social doctrine, which defends human dignity in political, social, and economic contexts.

The two hour long documentary is available for free online. It is currently only in French.
