'If there is a particularly solemn papal document, the bull is chosen. FLASH. Its uses vary: It can be for large events, for the appointment of a bishop, the creation of a diocese, an apostolic constitution, an excommunication.â?
The exact text of this bull will be announced in the coming hours. It should explain the Jubilee of Mercy.

'The center of Pope Francis' pontificate is evangelization, the mission of the Church. His desire is that people become closer to God. Reconciliation with God is open, is always open for all and the Jubilee Year is a great invitation to conversion, to come closer to God.â?
Few know that the document is called a bull to recall the ball used to hold Vatican documents together. The balls utilized a papal seal, which could be wax, lead, or gold. Even today, it guarantees the document's authenticity. Over time a unique technique was developed for the balls and some seals are preserved almost as pieces of jewelry.
Some of the most famous bulls of recent years were Humanae Salutis from Pope John XXIII and Incarnationis Mysterium, which Pope John Paul II used to announce the Jubilee of 2000.
