Following his trip to Naples, the Pope has no public events on Monday or Tuesday.
But on Wednesday, he'll preside over the weekly general audience in St. Peter's Square. Thousands of pilgrims are expected to attend.
On the same day, the Vatican will hold a press conference about the Shroud of Turin's extraordinary new exhibition. It will take place from April 19 to June 24 this year.
Pope Francis personally announced that on June 21 he will go on pilgrimage to Turin to venerate the Holy Shroud.
POPE FRANCIS
November 5, 2014
'I'm happy to announce that, God willing, on June 21st of next year, I will go on a pilgrimage to Turin, to venerate the Holy Shroud and to honor St. John Bosco, in the 200th anniversary since his birth.â?
According to tradition, the Shroud rested on the body of Christ after the crucifixion. The last time it was shown was in 2010. Pope Benedict XVI venerated it in the Cathedral of Turin for that occasion.
On Sunday, March 29, the Pope will preside over the Palm Sunday celebration in St. Peter's Square. Last year, more than 100,000 people attended.
After the ceremony, Pope Francis will pray the Angelus at noon.
