(-VIDEO ONLY -) The pilgrims in St. Peter's Square witnessed the day briefly darken as the Moon passed across the Sun. ;

The solar eclipse on Friday, March 20 was not easy to see, because it was a partial eclipse. The alignment of the Earth, Sun, and Moon won't be visible from Europe again until 2026.
