Pope Francis told a group of teachers that teaching hopeful young people is easy, but dealing with difficult students is much harder. He acknowledged that teachers who need to support the least educated don't have it easy, but their work is worthwhile.

'Jesus would say, if you love only those who study, who are well educated, what merit have you? And there are those who do lose patience, but we must love those more. Any teacher can do well with good students. I ask you to love 'difficult' students more.' Books and computers can provide students with knowledge. But the Pope added that teachers can offer something that those tools can't: They instill the good values that society needs.
