Pope Francis made his way to ;Manila's Mall of Asia Arena in the popemobile. It was a relatively short trip, since only three miles separate the local nunciature from the Arena. The streets were packed with pilgrims who waited for hours, for a chance to see Pope Francis as he passed along the local streets. ;
Accompanied by the local Archbishop, Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, the Pope received a welcome fit for a rock star. He blessed several children along the way and many images of Our Lady. ;
