Pope Francis will celebrate his second Christmas at the Vatican in a very quiet way. On Christmas Eve he will have dinner with his close collaborators at Casa Santa Marta before celebrating Mass at St. Peter's Basilica. The ceremony will start at 09.30 PM.

'He will live these days with inner peace, preparing a Manger in his heart. He will celebrate the Birth of Jesus at the Solemn Mass of Christmas Eve.

On December 25, Pope Francis will deliver his Christmas message. Afterward, he will give the Urbi et Orbi blessing.

'The Pope's message will be very important, because he is a Pope who keeps very close to his heart all the problems of the world.

Pope emeritus Benedict XVI will also spend Christmas at the Vatican. Last year, he and Pope Francis had lunch together, and maybe this year they repeat the gesture.
