'All the Catholics I've met since the announcement are visibly happy. As far as I know, none of them thought it was inconvenient. Quite the opposite.â?
Both Barack Obama and Raul Castro thanked Pope Francis for his help during the negotiations between the two countries. The Cuban bishops believe that a visit of Pope Francis to the island would give them the change of showing him their gratitude face-to-face.
