For many people, Father Christmas represents the most characteristic aspects of Christmas: the snow, the gifts, the good intentions and spending time with family.
Few people, however, associate this character with the birth of Jesus, the origin behind these festivities.
The purpose of the campaign 'Catholics Come Home' is to prevent people focusing completely on Father Christmas, and forgetting Christ in the process. In this ad called 'Santa's Priority' the main character, with his distinct white beard and red suit, joins the other pilgrims and kneels in prayer before the Child Jesus.
Catholics Come Home will be seen by 64 million people just in the United States during Advent and Christmas. Sources from the agency say the campaign also aims to combat secularism in the current society.
