Now that the Pope announced that he will be traveling to Philadelphia in 2015, the next question is what can people expect from the World Meeting of Families? The Archbishop of Philadelphia, weighed in on this.

ARCH. CHARLES CHAPUT
Archdiocese of Philadelphia (USA)
'The first part, the first four days, is a congress. Weâ??re expecting 10,000 people for that. We will  have major keynote addresses and weâ??re gonna have many many workshops for people. Then the last two days the Holy Father will come and weâ??ll have some major events. Weâ??re expecting more than 1 million people for that part of the celebration.â?

This Vatican inter-religious conference titled 'Humanum' which is promoting family life and the complimentary roles of a man and a woman in marriage, is giving the Church and other religious leaders a precursor on some of the themes that will be highlighted in Philadelphia.

ARCH. CHARLES CHAPUT
Archdiocese of Philadelphia (USA)
'Developing workshops to help people be better mothers and fathers, husbands and wives and sons and daughters.â?

The best way to promote this message is more than just about talk, rather about action. Part of that comes with the Church educating its faithful on living the Gospel in every day life. Also why marriage between a man and a woman is the fabric of society.

ARCH. SALVATORE CORDILEONE
Archdiocese of San Francisco (USA)
'A lot of people today, they understand this is true, but  they are not quite sure how to articulate it. They are not quite sure how to stand for it in a way that is compassionate for those who disagree and for those who are agitating to redefine marriage.â?

ARCH. CHARLES CHAPUT
Archdiocese of Philadelphia (USA)
'Even people who disagree on how we should define marriage know that we owe ourselves to a relationship between a man and a woman.

This three day Vatican conference brings together hundreds of people from 23 countries and 13 religions. From the laity to community leaders and religious representatives, some of whom will head out to Philadelphia in 2015 to take part in the World Meeting of Families.
